The Contemporary Arts Center will host the works of about two dozen artists — myself included — who were awarded individual artist grants from ArtsWave. The grants come from hundreds of community supporters of the arts.

The exhibition opens the evening of July 18 for visual arts with other artists presenting the afternoon of July 19. For those makers who meet the criteria and are so inclined, I encourage you to apply for future grants at www.artswave.org From the landing page of their website:

“ArtsWave provides over $10+ million in grant funding each year to arts organizations in the Cincinnati region. The grants are awarded based on how they advance ArtsWave’s Blueprint for Collective Action in the Arts. Before applying, be sure to familiarize yourself with ArtsWave’s Blueprint.”

Special thank you to the Forest Park Library’s Maker’s space for sponsoring my banners.
